Publisher's Description:

CodeTwo Outlook Export - CodeTwo Outlook Export is an easy-to-use free tool for quick and advanced export of data from Microsoft Outlook to CSV text files. The program allows exporting much more data than offered by the built-in export feature in Outlook, allowing the export of non-standard user-defined fields from Outlook and is quicker and easier to use. Data can be exported from folders of all types, such as: Contacts, Calendar, E-mail, Post, Tasks, Journal, Notes.

After installing the program, the new icon will appear in the standard Outlook toolbar. Clicking it runs CodeTwo Outlook Export.

In the CodeTwo Outlook Export window a user can choose whether to export data from all items in the current folder or to export only the selected items. Then the user defines the path to the CSV file to store the exported data.

After clicking the Add button the Field chooser dialog will be displayed. It allows you to add fields of data exported to the CSV file to the Exported fields list. The Field chooser dialog box displays a variety of fields, depending on the folder type, from which the data is currently exported.

In order to add exported fields to the Exported fields list, you need to select them in the Field chooser dialog box and click the Insert button. You can select more than one field at a time. The Field chooser initially displays standard Outlook data fields only. To display user-defined fields, created in a folder or in the other objects, click the Refresh button. If after selecting the Refresh command, a user-defined data field does not appear in the Available fields list, the name must be entered in the Custom field name field and you need to click Add. The field will then be added to the Available fields list.

Recent MS update meant exporting lists from Outlook 2003 wasn't exporting the "On behalf of" information. CodeTwo solved this for us, very useful and flexible bit of software.

This works great, exactly as advertised! I actually heard about it from a post that someone had online that was reviewing an Outlook to Database product, which was not what I needed. I looked for a product like yours when I started my business in 2008, but never found one. I've customized Outlook Calendar forms quite a bit and could not for the life of me find a way to export the new fields. VBA was my next stop, but you saved me the trouble.

As far as product suggestions go, I'd love you to add some filtering logic so I could do less sorting and appointment exclusions after the export. But you have saved me a bunch of time already. Thanks for a great product!

Worked exactly as described. UI could be improved by having it automatically detect custom fields without having to type them in manually, but other than that, great tool.

I needed to export address lists to Excel of only a subset of my over 3,000 contacts. It was a list made up of my category entitled VIPs. Of course Outlook only lets you export the ENTIRE contact list, not a subset. (That is so LAME Microsoft). Plus, I only needed First, Last, Street, City and Zip Code for that subset, and not all the other fields. Your application gave me just what I needed - and fast. I wasted hours trying to d this with Microsofts export feature. What a waste of time! Good work on CodeTwo & thanks.

Very helpful. Microsoft has made it difficult to get your Contacts out of Outlook, CodeTwo makes it easy!

This tool was easy to use and allowed me to accomplish exactly what I was trying to do -- export the email addresses from my Outlook 2000 addressbook to an Excel file. I'm very satisfied with the results and minimal effort required. -- -- Phil / Redondo Beach, CA

Would not extract the Contacts details with email addresses, even thought they were visible when clicking on 'Contacts' in Outlook.

unfortunately it did not help the problem I was having.

I was trying to get my old address book from outlook express to outlook 2003.

Your problem only does export from outlook 2003.

I ended up bringing the wab file from our old pc that died (from the hard drive) and bring it into windows email address. Then I exported as , delimited file but outlook 2003 wanted a special download to do this which it could not find. I ended up exporting as vcards and brought each one into outlook 2003 individually.

So I will basically not need your software unless I decide to use gmail and need to export the email addresses.

be in right view before launch

works fantastic just be in the correct view (inbox, sent etc.) before starting the program. tried to save contacts while viewing inbox and it does not work (there is a contacts field but it doesn't have the same info). opened contacts then opened program and it solved hours of frustration looking for a solution.
